The couple was so happy and so eager for
the whole world to share in their happiness they posted pictures to
their Instagram pages throughout the ceremony alongside the hashtag
#sharethelove. The couple looked dapper as they dressed in matching dark
suits, as were their sons, and Elton wore a pair of sunglasses as he
and David said their vows.

They entered
a civil partnership on December 21, 2005 and and picked the poignant
date to officially get wed on their ninth anniversary. Same sex
marriages became legal in England in March and to celebrate, Elton and
David set about planning the lavish bash. The couple also posted a sweet
snap of them together after signing the official paperwork on Sunday
morning.
Sir Elton shared a photo of himself, pen in hand, sitting next to
Furnish at a desk, with a piece of paper in front of them. The
accompanying caption red: ‘That’s the legal bit done. Now on to the
ceremony!’
